This book was inspired and created by parents. Their hope was to provide a way to get to know and share common experiences with your fellow families at the start of your nine year Prospect Sierra journey. We found taking some time before the beginning of the year or during the first few weeks to sit with your child and get to know their fellow classmates and parents helps foster a stronger sense of community and belonging. The kids can find others who share their favorite colors, books and interests and parents may find others who share geographic history, career choices or hobbies.
Starting a new school is an exciting adventure, one often filled with mixed emotions and lots of details. We hope this Family Book serves as a reminder that connecting, learning and sharing together is at the heart of building community. Each class is unique in their experience at Prospect Sierra, we hope this book serves as a warm welcome to the beginning of your journey.
Steps to be part of the Family Book:
Step 1 : Pick the layout you want to use-

Step 2: Fill out the form and upload an image. (If you can’t do it all in one sitting there is a “save and continue” option that will give you a link to come back to finish later.)
Step 3: Submit! The page gets sent to your grade’s book captain who will compile all the pages for your class.
Step 4: When all the pages from your class are in the book will be shared.
Optional Step 5: If your class decides to print the book, watch out for a book making party to help create a take home binder that can be added to each year.
